You Don’t Wilt. You Radiate.
Rewriting the rules of aging, one radiant story at a time.
Rewriting the rules of aging, one radiant story at a time.
Men grow older and become silver foxes. Women? We’re expected to fade.
It’s an unspoken double standard woven through everything from Hollywood scripts to skincare labels and it's long overdue for a rewrite.
Look at Jamie Foxx, Brad Pitt, George Clooney. In their 50s and 60s, they’re still called charismatic, sexy, aspirational. But when women age, we’re met with silence or worse, suggestions on how to reverse the years. As if aging is something to fix. As if the years that shaped us are liabilities instead of legacy.
This is why I created Roake.
After decades as an aesthetician teaching women how to ‘anti-age’ I hit menopause. And for the first time, the routines I had taught stopped working for me. But more than that, they stopped resonating.
I didn’t want to go back. I didn’t want to erase the years that made me. I didn’t want to be 30 again, I just wanted to be supported where I was. Seen. Celebrated. Respected.
Roake was born out of that shift. A pro-aging skincare brand that says: you are not a problem to be solved. You are a story worth honouring.
Lately, menopause is gaining visibility, partly due to celebrity brands and buzzword marketing. And while I applaud the conversations, I also want to say this:
Menopause isn’t a trend. It’s not a moment. It’s a milestone.
Roake wasn’t built to catch a wave. It was built to create space for every woman who’s been made to feel less visible with age.
We don’t wilt. We evolve.
And we deserve skincare that evolves with us.
